We aim to create meaningful experiences that build confidence, knowledge, and a genuine connection with horses, whether you’re joining us for Saddle Club, riding lessons, a special event, or one of our clinics. Meet Our Horses

BANJO

GYPSY COB CROSS

Banjo is our 4-year-old gypsy cob cross. Known stable wide for his stunning looks and long hair, he is certainly a fan favourite. Banjo himself is a pretty simple guy, with a love of food and scratches he’s NCE’s stable charmer.
BELLE 'BELLES CONCLUSION'

THOROUGHBRED

Belle’s conclusion, or better known as Belle, is our 5-year-old off the track thoroughbred. Known for her cute face, sweet personality and confusion surrounding how to eat carrots, Belle is the stables sweetheart.
MARSHALL

SHETLAND CROSS

Marshall is the smallest of the NCE herd by quite a lot (don’t tell him we said that). What he lacks for in height he makes up in speed, loving a trot around the arena on a nice sunny day.
MAC

STANDARDBRED
Mac is the stables simplest guy. You’ll often find him people watching or eating (a personal favourite of many of the horses here). While some may label Mac as dull, we know there’s more to this big guy than what meets the surface.
DEE

ANGLO ARAB

Dee is the oldest member of our herd, but don’t let that fool you she is certainly much younger in her mind. Dee is the embodiment of grit and determination, after some improper care Dee made her way to NCE where she is experiencing all the love in the world.
BLAZER

QUARTER HORSE
Blazer is the baby of the herd, being only 8 months old he has a lot to learn about life. Sweet as they come and as cool as a cucumber, blazer is already a stable favourite.
CHEWY

THOROUGHBRED
Chewy is NCE’s sweet and loving herd mate. Currently coming back into work, you can expect to see lots of updates about his journey. While still new he has already made a large impact at our stable.
Evie

RIDING PONY
Evie is our 12 year old, beginner friendly riding pony with the sweetest soul. She is the perfect edition to our herd here at NCE and she knows exactly who she is.

Saddle Club

Our 10-week Saddle Club program is the perfect introduction for anyone interested in learning about horses. Designed for beginners, the program focuses on building the knowledge and confidence needed to understand horse care and ownership through a combination of interactive theory and hands on activities.

Participants will explore topics including but not limited to: safety, nutrition, first aid, and what to look for when purchasing a horse, The program begins with an initial meet and greet session and ends with a ‘graduation’ celebration, creating a fun and rewarding journey for aspiring horse enthusiasts.

Please Note: Saddle club is an introductory program for those wanting to know how to properly care for horses and does not include riding lessons. There will, however, be opportunities to groom and feed the horses where possible.

Riding Lessons

Whether you’re taking your very first steps into the world of riding, looking to build your confidence, or wanting to continue developing your skills, our riding lessons are designed to support riders at every stage of their journey. With lessons tailored to each rider’s individual experience, ability, and goals, we aim to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment where riders can learn at their own pace.

Beginners will be introduced to the fundamentals of riding and horse handling, while more experienced riders can continue refining their skills and developing their confidence in the saddle. Our lessons focus on more than just riding, encouraging riders to build a strong understanding of their horse, develop good horsemanship, and become confident and capable riders both on and off the saddle.

For riders interested in developing their skills in barrel racing, we also offer barrel racing lessons focused on building confidence, control, accuracy, and speed while navigating the barrel pattern. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to improve your existing skills, lessons can be adapted to suit your experience and goals, with a strong focus on safety, horsemanship, and the wellbeing of the horse.
